1. Create an "All About Me" Packet about your child to share with all of their new teachers / caregivers: All About Me Packet

2. Take advantage of the schools Open House & plan to attend events in advance

3. Take up a volunteer position in your child's school / classroom

4. Create an organization folder for all paperwork - because you KNOW you'll need it

5. Review your child's current IEP

6. Start a communication log to keep track of all phone calls, emails, notes about your child

7. Reintroduce the school year routine

8. Focus on what your child CAN do
