Walk one day in our shoes...as we fight to stay awake!
Hugs & High Fives Everyone: Sneak woke up at 4 AM today. 4........A........M! She seemed to be in good spirits; but she was WIDE AWAKE - and humming a happy tune. (Sneak is nonverbal, so I often judge by her demeanor.) This is a rare occurrence that is usually fixed when I get into bed with her. She's usually fast asleep within minutes. Well, that old faithful trick did not work this morning. So... I TOO have been up since 4......A......M! I already alerted her ESY (summer school) teacher that the lack of sleep could catch up with her later this morning. The silver lining here is that she will get to bed earlier tonight, which means that I can get to bed earlier tonight! Until then...I'm just going to prop my eyelids up with some toothpicks. Before you suggest it, I don't drink coffee, but today may be a good day to start!
